Generous remuneration package of up to $117,636 p.a. comprising base salary range of $3632.10 to $3951.90 p.f, recreational leave loading (17.5%), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About your opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Advanced Clinical Coder to join the Clinical Coding team. The Advanced Clinical Coder is acknowledged as having excellent clinical coding skills and extensive knowledge across a broad range of specialties. The role is also responsible for quality activities such as auditing, data analysis and clinician liaison as well as coordination and implementation of education programmes to continuously improve skills of clinical coders to produce high quality coded data.

 Role requirements

• Minimum 4 years clinical coding experience
• The following qualifications are highly desirable:
  • Bachelor of Health Information Management (or equivalent)
  • Diploma of Clinical Coding from the Health Information Management Association of Australia (or equivalent)
  • Clinical Coding External and Internal Auditing Certificate (or equivalent)
• It is a mandatory condition of employment for the employee to be and remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
