About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Clinical Coder to join our Health Information Services team. This position is responsible for the completion of clinical coding and participation in case mix reviews and quality audits. This role offers a diverse case mix with opportunities for further growth.
The position is a full time (80 hours per fortnight) permanent position with a monthly ADO.
What you bring
As a Clinical Coder you will have experience and skills delivering sound knowledge of classification of diseases and procedures using ICD-10-AM and knowledge of DRG's and case mix funding.
Appropriate accredited clinical coder qualification is a must, with eligibility for membership with Health Information Management Association Australia (HIMMA).
