About the Opportunity
Fairfield Hospital is recruiting for a Medical Records Manger (Grade 1) to complement and enhance the current Clinical Information Department as a Deputy Clinical Information Manager.
The staff of the CID are committed to providing the most efficient and effective Clinical Information Service. Our aim is to provide timely and accurate patient demographic, clinical and statistical information to facilitate an optimal level of direct and indirect patient care whilst ensuring that the patients right to confidentiality remains protected.
CID is located on level 1 of the main hospital building opposite pathology. CID provides a range of services to both internal and external customers; these services include record control and storage, confidentiality and medico-legal services, Patient Administration System (PAS) management and training, coding records, provision of records and data for research and design of forms.

What You'll be Doing
The Deputy Clinical Information Manager (D/CIM) is responsible for the management of medicolegal matters for Fairfield Hospital (Clinical Information) and will assist in the management and leadership of the Clinical Information Service.
