Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Director Education Services to lead HIMAA’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) functions to deliver nationally and internationally recognised training related to clinical coding and health information management.
The role’s key responsibilities include progressing HIMAA’s strategic priorities for delivery of training and education, ensuring high levels of student outcomes and satisfaction, progressing innovation and a digital first culture, demonstrating continuous improvement, meeting RTO compliance requirements, and advancing HIMAA’s clinical coding and related expertise.
The successful applicant will hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and tertiary qualifications in health information management or alternative qualifications in clinical coding. The successful candidate will be experienced in clinical coding, coding management, coding auditing and coding education using the ICD-10-AM and ACHI classifications, and have an in-depth understanding of relevant legislation and standards of the VET Quality Framework and requirements of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). The successful candidate will have appropriate skills and experience managing people, processes, content, compliance, stakeholders and systems to meet the outcomes required of the role.
