Health Information Manager
Summary/Seek Short Description
The primary focus of this role is to support key clinical applications, participate in quality activities, maintain, and improve the quality of patient-related information systems, clinical documentation, and clinical data standards. Based in Southport.

The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Health Information Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Conduct audits and provide health information management advice and education to staff as required
- Assist in the development and maintenance of work instructions, procedures, and training materials
- Actively support, promote, and participate in quality activities aimed at improving the documentation of clinical information
- Maintain data quality and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
- Proof of qualification and/or registration with the appropriate registration authority
- Evidence of vaccination, and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Temporary full time (6 months with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $3 558.40 - $3 891.50 per fortnight
