Health Information Manager / Clinical Coder
Austin Health is looking for an experienced HIM/Clinical Coder to join our diverse and supportive Casemix team. Our Casemix team is part of the new Performance Reporting & Division Support which includes support from the Clinical analytics and reporting team.
- Permanent Full Time or Part Time Position
- Heidelberg location with hybrid working model: New Office Space July 2023
- Flexible working arrangements including ADOs and working from home

About the position:
- Carry out morbidity classification of discharged patients using ICD-10-AM and ACHI in a diverse and challenging Casemix
- Completion of Unit Audits and Targeted Audits
About you:
- Minimum 1 year coding experience
- Relevant Health Information Management degree or Clinical Coding qualification
- Excellent clinical coding skills (ICD-10-AM 12th edition)
- Good understanding of Casemix/Diagnostic Related Groups (DRGs)
