    ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

    Reporting to the Melbourne HIS Manager, you will undertake the following tasks:

    •ICD-10 AM Clinical Coding and DRG assignment

    •HAC and PICQ reviews

    •Documentation audits

    •Liaise with CDI

    •Participate in group education

    ABOUT YOU:

    •Bachelor of Health Information Management or completion of Certificate IV in Clinical Classification

    •Eligible for membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia

    •1 year experience in ICD-10 AM Coding and DRG assignment

    Preferable

    •Private hospital coding experience

    •Excellent knowledge of DRG and grouping software

    •Experience with medical record scanning software

    •Excellent communication skills

    •Good time management skills

    •Ability to work as part of a team

    •Ability to self-motivate
