    Summary of the role:

     

    Mercy Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Information Manager or Clinical Coder with a passion for coding, and a thorough knowledge of coding standards, to join our friendly dynamic team.

    ABOUT THE ROLE: 

    • Casual
    • Flexible location, Werribee or Heidelberg campus and work from home
    • Ensure completion of monthly ICD-10-AM coding within set deadlines
    • Ensure accurate coding in accordance with the Australian Coding Standards and Advice
    • Diverse and challenging casemix across 20 specialities, including ICU and NICU
    • Participate in coding audits to ensure coding quality and consistency

     

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Health Information Management Degree
    • HIMAA recognised Clinical Coding Qualification
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Coding Standards and National Funding Model principles
    • At least 2 years coding experience
    • High attention to detail and ability to meet agreed KPIs and deadlines
    • Proven organisational and time management skills.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
