    Remote Clinical Coder 

    • Grade 2 Clinical Coder
    • Monday - Friday
    • Flexible working hours, supportive team, ability to work remotely or onsite

    Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a HIM/Clinical Coder to join our Health Information Unit on a part time, ongoing basis. 

    The Clinical Coder is to undertake accurate, comprehensive and timely clinical coding across Latrobe Regional Health and assist in maintaining an effective and efficient Health Information Unit thereby contributing to the quality of patient care.

    We are looking for candidates with:

    • Experience and demonstrated competency in Clinical Coding using ICD-10-AM Classification system across a broad casemix for a period of at least 3 years is essential and experience in a Hospital or health care setting is desirable
    • Successful completion of a recognised Clinical Coding Course (HIMAA or equivalent)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
