    About the Position
    The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for providing timely monthly quality audits on clinical coding team as defined in the Coding Quality Cycle and assistance with content development and support of iMedX Health Consulting Services Team education development program.
    This position must be able to work independently via remote access. Some infrequent onsite work may be involved.

    Key Functions of the Role
    The iMedX RCM quality lead is responsible for

    1. To ensure the quality of iMedX services deliver on expected outcomes
    2. To educate, coach, and mentor team members to ensure service quality metrics are maintained
    3. Design, implement, and maintain iMedX Quality Management Framework and associated program deliverables
    4. Deliver on client billable work across all service lines as applicable – coding, auditing, education, professional services


    Other Responsibilities

    • Assist with end-to-end delivery of internal education programs. Including education PowerPoint, peer reviews, quick quiz as defined by Coding Quality Framework
    • Remain up to date on current ICD-10-AM ACHI and ACS and national and state coding rules and state admission rules.
    • Work in partnership with Health Consulting Leadership team to develop and implement quality frameworks to ensure service delivery success. For example auditing team, professional services, CDI, coding


    To be successful in this Role 
    Our successful candidate would have the following:

    • Bachelor of Health Information or equivalent work experience
    • Advanced clinical coding course
    • Minimum 5 years hospital experience, preferably at a tertiary level hospital with complex case mix
    • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical coding, including ICD-10-AM ACS and ACHI
