About the role
The Senior Health Information Manager, Information Services (IS) provides operational support to the Manager, Information Services for the daily activities of the Health Information Services Administration team – including scanning operators and reception across Mental Health, Acute, Emergency and Sub acute services. In addition this role has responsibility for forms development and management The Senior Health Information Manager is part of the Information Services Leadership Team and, together with the other portfolio managers support the Manager, Information Services in the provision of effective and efficient information services across GV Health.
We are looking for
- An experienced Health Information Manager
- Eligibility for membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA)
- Experienced leader with good communication skills
- Understanding of record governance and process requirements in the health environment
